Professional Development Certificate in Autism:
The Professional Development Certificate in Autism is offered
by Penn State, in conjunction with the Pennsylvania Department
of Education, Bureau of Special Education (PDE-BSE), as an opportunity
to enhance the Special Education Certificate with advanced training
in the area of autism spectrum disorders. This 12-credit certificate
program consists of five graduate-level courses that you should
be able to complete in one year. Upon completion, you will receive
a certificate from Penn State and a credential certificate from
PDE-BSE. In addition, you can receive course credits that may
be applied to a graduate program, pending approval from the degree-granting
institution.
