Matt Beilis to Perform this Friday at SPA Noontime Concert Series
Posted by Stephen Smith on 02/16 at 03:22 PM
The Student Programming Association will continue its weekly Noontime Concert Series this Friday, February 18th. Matt Beilis will be performing at noon on the first level of the HUB.
A graduate of Columbia University, this New York City musician has already gained an online following for his YouTube covers of both classic and current pop songs. He recently debuted “Can’t Help But Wonder,” a seven-track sprawl of original material.
Matt’s original songs are mostly piano-driven rock with pop production value. His sound is comparable to Maroon 5, but is made distinct through his signature hoarse vocals. Popular songs that he’s covered and posted on YouTube include “Just the Way You Are,” “Airplanes,” and “Hey Soul Sister.”
So while you’re grabbing a bite at the HUB, be sure to keep your ears peeled for pop-rock upstart, Matt Beilis.
