Red Jumpsuit Apparatus at the HUB on 3/20

Alternative rock group The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus will play a free show at the HUB as part of the LateNight program on March 20th, thanks to the folks at SPA.
After coming together in Florida six years ago, the band released their first LP Don’t You Fake It in 2006, which reached gold status. The single “Face Down” was all over the radio and television and the band landed tours with bands like My Chemical Romance and Rise Against.
The band released their second LP, Lonely Road, in 2008 and the EP Shock Session early last year. A few weeks ago, they announced that another EP would be out this May.
The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus plays a kind of alternative rock that hovers somewhere between post-hardcore and pop-influences, with choruses clearly meant to be anthems, heavy guitars, and confessional lyrics. Stylistically, “You Better Pray” is one of their most interesting and experimental songs, combining skillful guitar solos and distinctive vocals.
Tickets will be available for free in Alumni Hall on March 15th from 6-8pm and March 16th and 17th from 10am-2pm. On the 16th tickets will be sold in HUB room 129B.
