SPA Presents Breathe Carolina at Alumni Hall, Friday, 12/2, 10PM

Breathe Carolina, an electronic rock group from Denver, CO, will be bringing their dance style music with screaming vocals to Alumni Hall in the HUB this Friday, 12/2, at 10PM (doors open at 9:30PM). This concert, sponsored by the Late Night Committee of the Student Programming Association (SPA), has free tickets with a valid PSU student ID.
The band, consisting of Kyle Even and David Schmitt, are notorious for their special type of music where they incorporate hard techno beats with screaming vocals and chugging guitars to create a rather unique genre called ‘crunkcore.’ They recently put out their newest album, Hell Is What You Make It, that has spawned the single, ‘Blackout.’ Their stage presence have graced venues across the United States as well as the Warped Tour and various other festivals. They even had a recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
If you have no other plans this coming Friday night, be sure to put on your dancing shoes and come on down to the show. It promises to be a beat-filled extravaganza with a band that is trying to change the landscape of music, and simply have a good time.
