Celebration of African American Music Festival

The annual Celebration of African American Music Festival in the PSU School of Music will be held February 25 – 27, 2010. Concerts will occur at the following times and places:

Thursday, February 25, 12:10 p.m. Bach’s Lunch, Eisenhower Chapel

Thursday, February 25, 6 p.m. Esber Recital Hall, Music Building 1, Tickets: $4.99 adult/$2 student

Friday, February 26, 2:30 p.m., Common Hour, Esber Recital Hall, Music Building 1

Friday, February 26, 6 p.m. Esber Recital Hall, Music Building 1, Tickets: $4.99 adults/$2 student

Saturday, February 27, 1:30 p.m. Worship Hall, Pasquerilla Spiritual Center

Essence of Joy

Solo performances will be presented by the following artists:

Velvet Brown, tuba

Tim Hurtz, oboe

Voice students of Beverly Patton, Mary Saunders, Ted Christopher and Jennifer Trost
