First Thursday State College kicks off April 1 with a performance by J.R. and Natalie with Bill Filer at 7 p.m. on Heister Street. Parking is free that evening at all municipal street meters, the parking lots on Fraser Street and on Beaver Avenue and Allen Street (Across from the Municipal Building), and the McAllister parking deck. Library exhibits include
From 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. “Research/Penn State Magazine: Celebrating Thirty Years,” an exhibit, on display through May 1, in the main exhibit hall of Pattee Library.
From 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.“Fred Waring and the Pennsylvanians: A Musical Legacy,” an exhibit, on display through August 1, in the Diversity Studies Room, 109 Pattee Library.
From 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., “Storyteller without Words,” an exhibit of Lynd Ward’s work, will be on display through May 7, in the Special Collections Library, 104 Paterno Library
