Graduate Exhibition Performances

Penn State’s graduate students enrolled in the performing arts will present an array of musical and theatrical selections to kickoff the celebration of the Graduate School’s 25th Annual Graduate Exhibition. Solo performances on piano, cello, and euphonium will feature works by Hungarian pianist and maestro, Franz Liszt and French composer, Joseph-Maurice Ravel, as well as a classical music and jazz piece by Ukrainian composer and pianist, Nikolai Kapustin; a recently discovered and published work by Bohemian cellist and composer David Popper; and an arrangement by David Werden of violin virtuoso Nicolò Paganini’s final caprice. Graduate students in the M.F.A. Acting Program will also present a portion of the professional audition showcase.
