Sponsored by Cynthia Mazzant, PA Council on the Arts Rostered Artist, Galaxy - part of the National Poetry Out Loud Competition, PA Council on the Arts

    Poetry Out Loud Regional Competition will have five to six high school students reciting poems. Three to five judges will select the regional representative to go onto the state level competition.
    The competition begins with introductions, a vocal warm-up round and then is followed by three rounds of recitation. While scores are being tabulated, a local poet will talk with the students & audience. Awards & Certificates are presented at the end of the competition with a photo call.
