Hello everyone -
  As some of you may already know, former national hammered dulcimer champion and amazingly nice guy Dan Duggan   has been diagnosed with head and neck cancer.  There is a blog on Dan’s situation at http://esperancecancerblog.blogspot.com/
 
A friend of Dan’s has organized a unique fundraiser to help Dan and his wife Peggy cope with their medical expenses.  It would be great to show Dan support from the hammered dulcimer community!

  If you’d like to be involved, or can help pass the word along, the fundraiser works like this:
  Save all the change you get in the month of March. At the end of the month, count it up, write a check for that amount and mail it to Dan at home:

  After you mail the check, send him an e-mail at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address). com with “Change is coming” in the subject line. In the e-mail itself, write, “Stay tuned!” Over the next few days, Dan will receive “April showers” of love from everywhere!
