Andrew,  from what I’ve heard on their website,  their music is a lot more “Country” than what might be a good fit on the Folk Show.  A quick search of the WPSU library doesn’t find any of their CDs.

Hmm,  just realized that this is the same Buddy Miller who recently had a heart attack,  and about whom Art, Adam and Jim had such good things to say.  Do any of who have an cuts that we could add to the Folk Show library?

I LOVE Buddy Miller, but I would be hard-pressed to think of studio work of his offhand that would easily fit our format… although the song Quecreek, written by Julie, about the Somerset miners, would be one. I think I might have used it a couple years back, back to back with a Van Wagner song. Admittedly, I don’t have all his stuff, so there may be something I’m not familiar with that would work.

A good parallel to me, btw,  is Darrel Scott; amazing talent and a personal favorite but the studio stuff is generally pretty produced and full sounding.
