2012 Summer Reading Challenge

Raise a reader this summer!

Summer is a perfect opportunity to raise a reader! This summer, PBS KIDS and PBS stations across the country are hosting 10 weeks of on-air programming, featuring the SUPER WHY! Around the World Adventure. PBS KIDS also offers online activities, mobile apps and local events to encourage families to explore reading. Free episode downloads, video playlists and more are also available on iTunes. And, PBS KIDS is partnering with iVillage and JetBlue to offer fun activities to encourage reading.

Weekly Activities from PBS Kids

From June 4 through August 10 WPSU-TV is featuring 10 weeks of themed programming. Each week will feature themed episodes from a different PBS KIDS series and new downloadable activities that extend the fun and learning will be available here. The fun kicks off with Wild Kratts “Zack Attack Week.”
