Pennsylvania Inside Out: Evolution

Randy Olson is a Harvard-trained evolutionary biologist-turned-filmmaker. His film, Flock of Dodos: The Evolution-Intelligent Design Circus, takes a humorous, yet serious, look at the ongoing debate over teaching evolution or creationism in public school classrooms. Sizzle: A Global Warming Comedy, another Olson film, follows the same form, mixing humor and science. Olson visited Penn State this past fall, and WPSU's Patty Satalia talked with him about his work and his urgent appeal to improve the delivery of scientific information to people who are not scientists.
