PA People: Thom Brewster
We continue our Pennsylvania People series with a new and intimate profile of one of the people who makes Pennsylvania so interesting. WPSU’s Patty Satalia visits with Thom Brewster, executive director of CentrePeace. Most people know it as a place that restores and sells used furniture, but Brewster sees it as a place that restores prisoner’s lives.

I am on the board of Centre Peace. I want to thank Patty Satalia and WPSU for profiling Centre Peace. We are fortunate to have a Tom Brewster as our CEO. He keeps Centre Peace on track and on budget and works well with the staff, inmates, county commissioners, and others.
I personally believe in Centre Peace’s mission and I think Centre Peace is making a difference in the lives of many people who took a wrong turn in their lives and want to get back on track and be productive citizens.
