About The Show
Scholastic Scrimmage is a fast-paced question and answer game, which features students from over eighty Central Pennsylvania high schools. In each match, two teams compete to showcase their knowledge, recall and reflexes as they attempt to advance to our annual Grand Championship.
Scholastic Scrimmage continues our commitment to present programming that is both entertaining and educational. The competitive format of Scholastic Scrimmage is one of the most effective ways to make learning fun - and to shine a spotlight on some of the brightest young people in our schools.
About The Host
David Price is an award-winning journalist, entertainer, educator, and entrepreneur with a quarter century of broadcasting experience. In addition to hosting Scholastic Scrimmage, David is the lead producer and co-host for Pennsylvania Inside Out. He also developed the Penn State football edition of Pennsylvania Inside Out called Huddle Up, which he produces and hosts.
