Biography:

James Fryman

James Fryman believes that the federal government should be reduced in size and cost. He is in favor of eliminating the Department of Education and ending the Department of Homeland Security.

Fryman was born in Mercer County in 1947. He was an Eagle Scout and graduated from Hickory High School and Clarion University with a degree in secondary education. He attended the Armed Forces Institute, the University of West Florida, and the US Navy electronics school. He retired from PennDot in 2007 as a real estate negotiator.

Fryman has been married to his wife, Patti, for 38 years. They have two children and are active members of St. Patrick’s Church in Franklin, PA. Fryman is involved in Big Brothers/Big Sisters and enjoys sailing, chess, reading, wine, and traveling.
